Maximum permissible concentration of substances (MPC)
concentrations of substances that, during daily work (excluding weekends) over an 8-hour period (or other duration but not more than 41 hours per week) throughout the entire working career, cannot cause diseases or deviations in health detectable by modern research methods during work or at distant times in the life of the current and future generations. The permissible exposure limits (PDK) in the air of the workplace are established for chemical compounds that have harmful effects and may be present in the environment as gases, vapors, aerosols, or mixtures of vapors and aerosols
