State Aviation
1. Aviation used for the purposes of performing state functions and ensuring the accomplishment of tasks specified in this paragraph is referred to as state aviation.
State aviation used for accomplishing tasks in the field of defense of the Russian Federation by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as other troops, military units, and bodies involved in these purposes, is referred to as state military aviation.
State aviation used for accomplishing tasks assigned to federal executive authorities in the areas of ensuring the security of the Russian Federation, security of protected objects, internal affairs, customs matters, space activities, civil defense, protection of population and territories from natural and man-made emergencies, including ensuring safety on water facilities and fire safety, is referred to as state aviation of special purpose.
