Involuntary Status
De facto slavery is a state of dependence and subordination associated with unlawful systematic coercion of a person to perform certain actions or inaction in the interests of other persons, residing in a specific place or with specific individuals, performing a particular type of work or providing certain services for another person, either for remuneration or without it, which has arisen as a result of debt bondage, serfdom, or the application of institutions or customs under which a woman is transferred to another person by inheritance, for remuneration or in any other manner without her right to refuse, or a child is transferred by a parent, another legal representative, or a person replacing them, to another person for remuneration or without it with the aim of exploiting the child
