General electrical injuries (electric shocks)
General electric injuries (electric shocks) occur when an electric current passing through the body excites its living tissues and manifest as involuntary, convulsive muscle contractions of the body. In this case, the entire organism is at risk of injury.
An electric shock may not result in a person's death, but can cause disorders in the body that may appear several hours or days later (appearance of cardiac arrhythmia, angina pectoris, restlessness, weakening of memory and attention).
