Seaman's Identity Document
2. A seafarer's identity document is a document certifying the identity of an individual who is employed on a maritime vessel (excluding a military ship), a fishing vessel, or a vessel operating on mixed (river-sea) routes, used for commercial navigation (hereinafter referred to as a vessel).
A seafarer's identity document is not the primary document certifying the identity of a citizen of the Russian Federation, by which a citizen of the Russian Federation carries out departure from the Russian Federation and entry into the Russian Federation.
