Financial feasibility of an investment project
Financial feasibility of an investment project - ensuring such a structure of cash flows, where at each calculation step there is a sufficient amount of money to implement the project generating this IP. In the Recommendations, the terms "financial feasibility of an investment project" ("financial feasibility of IP") and "financial feasibility of the project" are used as synonyms. Similarly, one can speak about "cash flows (inflows, outflows, payments and receipts) of IP", meaning respectively cash flows (inflows, outflows, payments and receipts) of the project associated with this IP
Financial feasibility - indicator (taking two values - "yes" or "no"), characterizing the availability of financial resources for implementing the project. The requirement of financial feasibility determines the required volume of financing for the investment project (IP). In case of identifying financial unfeasibility, the financing scheme and, possibly, certain elements of the organizational and economic mechanism of the project should be adjusted
