Zaldiar

Zaldiar is a new combined tablet medication for oral administration containing safe doses of two well-studied and recommended by WHO analgesics: the non-opioid paracetamol (325 mg) and the opioid tramadol (37.5 mg). The first provides rapid onset of the analgesic effect, while the second enhances and prolongs it. The single dose of Zaldiar is 1 - 2 tablets maximum (650 mg paracetamol and 75 mg tramadol), the daily dose is up to 8 tablets (2.6 g paracetamol and 300 mg tramadol). In patients over 75 years old, the interval between single doses of analgesic should be no less than 6 hours. The drug is effective for acute and chronic moderate intensity pain syndromes of various origins. Contraindications to the use of the drug include liver failure, respiratory insufficiency, epilepsy, pregnancy, breastfeeding, concurrent alcohol consumption (enhances toxic effects on the liver), sedatives, medications containing paracetamol and tramadol. The drug is dispensed according to a regular doctor's prescription.
