Fipronil


Fipronil is an insecticide from the phenylpyrazole group with contact, stomach, and partially systemic action, providing long-lasting protective effects. It effectively suppresses development of pests from the orders Coleoptera and Orthoptera in cereals crops and on potato plantations at application rates of 5–12.5 g a.i./ha, as well as soil-dwelling pests when treating cereal seeds
