Sodium hypochlorite
2.3.1.1. Sodium hypochlorite produced by domestic industry is a transparent or slightly opalescent liquid of light yellow or greenish-yellow color with a sharp odor. It contains caustic soda and active chlorine. To prepare the working solution, 50 ml of sodium hypochlorite is taken per 10 liters of water. For sanitary treatment of dairy equipment made of aluminum, sodium metasilicate is added to the working solution in an amount of 2 g per liter
