Captain of the Basin of Inland Waterways
2. The captain of the inland waterway basin is an official who heads the state port inspection, which is part of the administration of the inland waterway basin, and is directly subordinate to the federal executive body responsible for providing state services and managing state property in the field of inland water transport, acting on the basis of the regulations governing the captain of the inland waterway basin, approved by the federal executive body in the field of transportation, in accordance with the procedures established by the Government of the Russian Federation. The qualification and other requirements for the captain of the inland waterway basin are set out in the regulations governing the captain of the inland waterway basin.
