Amphetamines


Amphetamines are psychomotor stimulants causing a mental state characterized by heightened sensitivity and increased emotional freedom. Some amphetamines in certain doses may exert hallucinogenic and psychoactive effects. Taking preparations containing amphetamines causes increased heart rate, stimulates breathing, activates motor activity, reduces appetite and need for sleep, relieves fatigue, and elevates mood
