state or municipal guarantee (state guarantee of the Russian Federation, state guarantee of a subject of the Russian Federation, municipal guarantee) - a type of debt obligation under which respectively the Russian Federation, a subject of the Russian Federation, a municipal formation (guarantor) are obliged to pay a certain amount of money to the person in whose favor the guarantee is provided (beneficiary), upon written request of the beneficiary, from the corresponding budget funds, in accordance with the conditions of the obligation given by the guarantor, to ensure performance of obligations by a third party (principal) towards the beneficiary;
