Compromise of the key
Key compromise - loss of confidence that the keys being used ensure information security

Key compromise - loss of confidence that the closed keys being used are inaccessible to third parties. Events related to key compromise include, among others, the following:
- loss of key carriers;
- loss of key carriers with subsequent discovery;
- dismissal of employees who had access to key information;
- emergence of suspicions of information leakage or its distortion in the confidential communication system;
- breach of the integrity of seals on safes containing key carriers, if the procedure for sealing safes is used;
- loss of keys to safes while key carriers are inside them;
- loss of keys to safes while key carriers are inside them followed by subsequent discovery;
- access by unauthorized persons to key information
