Electric Welding Equipment
7.6.3. Electric welding installation - a set of functionally related elements of the corresponding electric welding and general-purpose electrical, as well as mechanical and other equipment, automation means and instrumentation, ensuring the implementation of the necessary technological process.
The composition of elements of electric welding installations depends on their purpose, structural design of the equipment, degree of mechanization and automation.
Depending on the above conditions, electric welding installations include cable lines, electrical wiring and current conductors for external connections between installation elements, as well as within the installation, pipelines of water cooling and hydraulic drive systems, compressed air, nitrogen, argon, helium, carbon dioxide gas and other gases, as well as vacuum lines.
