Structural Units for the Protection of State Secrets
12. Structural units responsible for the protection of state secrets include:
regime-security units (performing tasks related to ensuring the established secrecy regime and (or) conducting classified document processing);
cryptographic units (performing tasks related to organizing, ensuring the operation and security of encrypted communications);
units for countering foreign technical intelligence and technical protection of information (performing tasks aimed at preventing or significantly hindering unlawful (including unintentional) technical, software, and other influences and processes directed at reading (theft) of information, destruction, distortion, or blocking during its processing on informatization objects);
units that, in accordance with established procedures, conduct special expert examinations of organizations for the right to work with information classified as state secrets;
libraries of secret publications and secret technical documents, typewriting, drafting, duplicating, and copying departments, other units whose primary function is to ensure the protection of state secrets;
individual employees who, in accordance with their job (functional) responsibilities, are assigned the obligation to protect state secrets and/or employees who perform cryptographic work on a part-time basis and have been granted access to cryptographic materials in accordance with established procedures
