Cooperative Enterprise
4. A co-op farm (koopkhos) is a rural cooperative established by the heads of peasant (farmer) households and/or citizens running personal subsidiary farms, based on voluntary membership for joint activities such as land cultivation, livestock production, or other activities related to agricultural product production, provided that these activities are based on the personal labor participation of co-op farm members and the pooling of their property contributions in accordance with this Federal Law and the co-op farm's charter. Land plots owned by members of peasant (farmer) households or citizens running personal subsidiary farms are not transferred into the share fund of the co-op farm, nor is the right to lease land plots used by them under a lease agreement, except for land designated for general cooperative needs. The official name of the co-op farm must include its name and the word "co-op farm". Other requirements for the trade name of a cooperative farm are established by the Civil Code of the Russian Federation
