Distant traffic light of the lock
4.9. Remote traffic light - a traffic light regulating the approach of vessels to the lock's dock wall, and in the absence of the latter, to the lock itself. If a dock wall is present, the remote traffic light is installed at its end furthest from the lock; if no dock wall is present, it is installed on the shore of the access channel.
