Coercion of a person


Coercion of a person - physical or psychological influence on a person with the aim of inducing them against or despite their will and consent to perform certain actions or to refrain from performing them in favor of the coercing party or other parties, through abduction or violent restriction of the freedom of the coerced person, application of physical, sexual or psychological violence, or other threats, blackmail, or use of toxic, potent or other intoxicating substances for these purposes, as well as by intentionally creating and (or) using a helpless state or vulnerable position of the coerced person
