Unified Visa

A unified visa is a permit or decision expressed by the Contracting Party in the form of affixing a special stamp in the passport, travel document or other valid document granting the right to cross borders. It authorizes a foreign national who is subject to the obligation to hold a visa to arrive at a border crossing point located on the external border of the Contracting Party that issued the visa or on the external border of another Contracting Party, with a view to applying for permission to transit or for permission to stay. Other conditions for entry or transit must also be fulfilled. The fact of holding a unified visa does not grant an absolute right of entry.
