Military Commissariats
2. A military commissariat is established in a subject of the Russian Federation in order to ensure the performance by citizens of their military obligations, organize and conduct mobilization preparedness and mobilization, implement the rights of citizens who have been discharged from military service and members of their families, as well as members of families of deceased (deceased) servicemen to social guarantees, including pension provision, and also in order to ensure the guarantee of burial for deceased (deceased) servicemen and other categories of citizens in accordance with Russian Federation legislation.
3. Military commissariats in their activities are guided by the Constitution of the Russian Federation, federal constitutional laws, federal laws, acts of the President of the Russian Federation, including those issued by him as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, acts of the Government of the Russian Federation, acts of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, orders, directives and instructions of commanders of troops of military districts, acts of federal executive authorities and acts of senior officials (heads of highest executive bodies of state authority) of the subjects of the Russian Federation issued within their powers, as well as this Regulation.
4. Military commissariats are territorial bodies of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and are part of military districts
