Archival Code

Archival code - a designation applied to each storage unit for the purpose of accounting and identification. The archival code consists of numbers: the archival fond number according to the list of archival fonds of the organization's archive, and through a fraction according to the list of state archive fonds, the source of which is the organization, archival collection, inventory, and storage unit.

The archival fond number is assigned by the state archive after the first receipt of documents from an organization for permanent storage
