Rights and obligations of a passenger on inland waterway transport
1. The passenger has the right:
to purchase a ticket for a passenger seat of any category for travel to any port specified in the ship's schedule or announced on the route of the vessel;
to carry one child free of charge who is no older than 5 years, provided that the child does not occupy a separate passenger seat, as well as children no older than 10 years with payment according to the preferential rate;
to carry hand luggage free of charge (items that are easily portable and do not inconvenience other passengers, with a length of no more than 1.8 meters or a total perimeter length of no more than 2.6 meters), with a total weight not exceeding 36 kilograms and on high-speed vessels not exceeding 20 kilograms. The passenger is responsible for the safety of their hand luggage;
to check in baggage for paid transportation according to the baggage transportation rate;
to make a stop during the journey for no more than 10 days with appropriate documentation of such a stop when traveling on vessels covering a distance of 500 kilometers or more;
to extend the validity of the ticket in case of illness confirmed by a document from a medical institution, for the duration of the illness or to surrender the ticket and receive the transportation fee;
until the vessel departs at any time, and after the start of the voyage in any port where the vessel stops, to renounce the carriage contract, surrender the ticket in accordance with the rules of passenger transportation, and receive the transportation fee for the part of the journey not covered by the vessel;
to renounce the carriage contract in case of delay in the departure of the vessel and receive the transportation fee.
2. The passenger is obliged to comply with the rules of using vessels and shore-based facilities intended for the service of passenger transportation, approved by the federal executive authority in the field of transport
