Multiplicative Effect of Tourism
The multiplicative effect of tourism refers to its ability to generate a demand that necessitates the development of many industries satisfying this demand on territories visited by tourists. This includes not only organizations whose existence depends directly on working with tourists (tour operators, travel agencies), but also accommodation facilities, catering establishments, transport services, museums, theaters, and other tourist attractions, i.e., organizations that participate in some way in the service of tourists.
