Soil degradation due to agricultural activities
c) Soil degradation due to agricultural practices refers to the loss of soil fertility resulting from the depletion of mineral nutrients in soils, unfavorable changes in the soil's absorption complex, changes in soil pH, reduction in the mineralogical composition, excessive lightening or heavyening of the granulometric composition, decrease in the quantity and deterioration of the quality of organic matter, and the development of an unfavorable complex of soil biota. Soil degradation due to agricultural practices is typically caused by violations in the system of farming when cultivating crops in agricultural production and is accompanied by physical degradation of soils
