Maximum permissible level of ultrasound
Permissible Exposure Level (PEL) of ultrasound - the level that, during daily work (excluding weekends), but not exceeding 40 hours per week, throughout the entire working career should not cause diseases or deviations in health status detectable by modern research methods during work or at distant terms of life for current and future generations. Compliance with the PEL of ultrasound does not exclude health impairment in hypersensitive individuals
