"information war" - a contest between two or more states in the information space aimed at causing damage to information systems, processes, and resources that are critically important and other structures, undermining political, economic, and social systems, conducting mass psychological operations against the population to destabilize society and the state, as well as compelling the state to make decisions in the interests of the opposing party
