21. The length along the front of the landslide, collapse, or slumping - the extent of benches or the quarry slope that is subject to destructive deformation. It is measured as the largest size of the disturbed area, repeating the configuration of the slope's crest. If several benches are susceptible to instability, the total value across all levels should be indicated. If instability develops cyclically along the front of operations, the overall length should be specified regardless of the timing of secondary movements.
