Transfusion (transfusion) of blood components
Transfusion of blood components (erythrocyte-containing oxygen carriers, thrombocyte-containing and plasma-based hemostasis and fibrinolysis correctors, leukocyte-containing and plasma-based immunomodulatory agents) is a therapeutic method involving the introduction into the circulatory system of the patient (recipient) of these components prepared from a donor or the recipient themselves (autologous donation), as well as blood and its components that have flowed into body cavities during trauma and surgery (reinfusion)
