Swamps


Peatlands include forest areas with a surface layer of peat not less than 30 centimeters deep in non-drained areas, and 20 centimeters deep in drained areas provided there is no woody vegetation or if such vegetation is present with a density of 0.3 or lower for young stands and 0.2 or lower for other age groups

Peatlands are land areas excessively moistened by groundwater and atmospheric waters, characterized by the presence on their surface of decomposed and partially decomposed remains in the form of peat. Here also

excessively moistened land plots not having a peat layer or covered with a peat layer of less than 30 cm in their natural state. These lands, usually overgrown with reeds, cattails, bulrushes, etc., are not used for agriculture and are not included in the category of agricultural lands
