International combined transport

1. "International multimodal transport" means the transportation of goods by at least two different modes of transport under a contract of multimodal transport from a place in one country where the goods are handed over to the operator of multimodal transport to the stipulated place of delivery in another country. Operations for the carriage and delivery of goods carried out in accordance with a contract of transport using only one mode of transport, as defined in such contract, are not considered international multimodal transport.
