Status of Preservation
"Conservation status" is considered "favorable", if:
data on population dynamics show that the migratory species remains a viable part of its ecosystems for a long period;
currently, there is no reduction in the range of the migratory species or such reduction is unlikely on a long-term basis;
currently, there are and in the foreseeable future will be sufficient habitats to maintain the population of this migratory species on a long-term basis; and
the distribution and abundance of this migratory species approach historically established ranges and levels to the extent that potentially acceptable ecosystems exist, and to the extent that this corresponds to rational management of wildlife;
