Applicant (declarant)
applicant (declarant) - a person who applies to the competent authority (organisation) of the country of export in order to obtain a certificate of origin, confirming and bearing responsibility for the accuracy of the information about goods stated in the certificate of origin.
Applicants (declarants) may be exporters, consignors of goods or persons representing their interests in accordance with the national legislation of the country of export (on the basis of a power of attorney, mandate agreement and other documents).
The term may also include importers, consignees of goods or persons representing their interests in accordance with the national legislation of the country of export (on the basis of a power of attorney, mandate agreement and other documents);
