Use for Peaceful Purposes
(l) "peaceful use" includes the use of information, nuclear materials, equipment or components in such areas as research, power generation, medicine, agriculture and industry, however it does not include the use in a nuclear explosive device, conducting research or developments in this area or for any other military purpose. Providing electricity to a military base from any power grid, producing isotopes for medical purposes on military facilities for diagnosis, therapy or sterilization and other similar purposes that may be mutually agreed upon by the Parties, are not considered military purposes;
