Put Option


1.7. For the purposes of this Regulation, a "put" option is an option contract granting:

the right to receive a sum of money if the price of the underlying asset, as determined pursuant to the specification, is lower than the strike price of the option contract; and/or

the right to sell the underlying asset or the right to require the conclusion of a futures contract under which the party entitled by the option contract is entitled to claim variation margin, in the event that the price determined pursuant to the specification of the futures contract will be lower than the price determined at the time of entering into the futures contract
