Military towns

Military towns are military towns established within the boundaries of forest districts on land of the forest fund or land for defense and security, intended for subsequent placement of abolished military units (subunits), formations, higher education military educational organizations, other organizations of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, National Guard troops of the Russian Federation, state protection agencies1.

Military towns — established within the boundaries of forest ranger stations, forest parks on land of the forest fund or land for defense and security, for the subsequent placement of abolished military units (subunits), formations, higher education military educational organizations, other organizations of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, National Guard troops of the Russian Federation, state protection agencies3.
