A verification flight — a flight conducted by an aircraft at the request of either Party during a demonstration or observation flight, over which a verification flight is performed in accordance with the procedures set forth in Section III of Appendix D to this Agreement, for the purpose of verifying the capabilities of surveillance equipment1.
