Clinical Guidelines


Clinical guidelines are documents containing structured information based on scientific evidence regarding issues of prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation, including patient management protocols, options for medical intervention, and a description of the sequence of actions by healthcare professionals taking into account the course of the disease, presence of complications and coexisting conditions, other factors influencing the outcomes of medical care1.
