Medical-Biological Support for Athletes


Medical and biological support for athletes - a set of activities aimed at restoring the work capacity and health of athletes, including medical interventions, psychological activities, systematic monitoring of the health status of athletes, providing athletes with medicinal products, medical devices and specialized food products, conducting scientific research in the field of sports medicine, and carried out in accordance with the requirements established by legislation on physical culture and sport regarding the prevention of doping in sports and combating it, the World Anti-Doping Code, anti-doping rules approved by international anti-doping organizations, and developed taking into account the aforementioned code and rules, general Russian anti-doping rules approved by the general Russian anti-doping organization in accordance with procedures established by the federal executive body responsible for developing and implementing state policy and normative legal regulation regulation in the field of physical culture and sports, as well as the provision of state services (including prevention and combatting doping in sports) and management of state property in the field of physical culture and sports1.
