Violation of official discipline


Misconduct in service is deemed to be a culpable act (omission) manifested by an employee of the internal affairs organs violating the legislation of the Russian Federation, the disciplinary code of the internal affairs organs of the Russian Federation, the job description (position instructions), the rules of internal service order of the federal executive authority in the field of internal affairs, its territorial body or subdivision, or failing to comply with restrictions and limitations related to service in the internal affairs organs, requirements for service conduct, or failure (improper performance) of obligations provided by the contract, official duties, orders, and instructions from direct superiors (heads) and immediate superior (head) while performing primary duties and exercising granted rights1.
