Extremism


1) extremist activity (extremism):

use of violence to change the constitutional order and violation of the integrity of the Russian Federation;

public justification of terrorism and other terrorist activities;

incitement of social, racial, national or religious discord;

propaganda of the superiority, excellence or inferiority of a person based on his or her social, racial, national, religious or linguistic affiliation or relationship to religion;

violation of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of a person and citizen depending on his or her social, racial, national, religious or linguistic affiliation or relationship to religion;

obstruction of citizens' exercise of their voting rights and right to participate in a referendum or violation of the secrecy of voting, combined with violence or threat of its use;

obstruction of the lawful activities of state bodies, local self-government bodies, electoral commissions, public and religious organizations or other organizations, combined with violence or a threat of its use;

committing crimes motivated by those specified in paragraph "e" of part one of article 63 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation;

propaganda and public display of Nazi attributes or symbolism, or attributes or symbolism similar to Nazi attributes or symbolism to the extent of confusion;

public calls for the commission of such acts or mass distribution of knowingly extremist materials, as well as their manufacture or storage for the purpose of mass distribution;

publically knowingly false accusation of a person holding a state position of the Russian Federation or a state position of a subject of the Russian Federation of having committed during the performance of their official duties acts specified in this article and constituting a criminal offense;

organization and preparation of the aforementioned acts, as well as incitement to their commission;

funding of the aforementioned acts or other assistance in their organization, preparation and implementation, including by providing educational, printing and material-technical infrastructure, telephone and other types of communication or rendering information services;
