Mining of digital currencies


Digital currency mining is an activity involving the performance of mathematical calculations through the use of technical and software-hardware means to make entries in an information system using technology, including distributed ledger technology, aimed at issuing digital currencies and (or) obtaining compensation in digital currencies by the person carrying out such activity for confirming entries in the information system1.
