Russian mass media


Russian mass media — mass media registered in accordance with the Law of the Russian Federation dated December 27, 1991, No. 2124-I "On Mass Media," carrying out activities on the territory of a foreign state and (or) whose distribution on the territory of a foreign state is carried out under a licensing agreement, or mass media operating on the territory of a foreign state, where the founder is the Russian Federation, a subject of the Russian Federation, a municipal formation, a Russian physical and (or) legal entity and (or) a person controlled by them and (or) whose products are distributed in the state language of the Russian Federation, the state languages of republics that are part of the Russian Federation or other languages of the peoples of the Russian Federation1.
