Recognition of Foreign Education and Foreign Qualifications in the Russian Federation


The recognition of foreign education and foreign qualifications in the Russian Federation is understood as an official confirmation of the significance (level) of education and (or) qualifications obtained in a foreign state, for the purposes of ensuring access to education and (or) professional activity in the Russian Federation, and granting the holder academic, professional and (or) other rights provided for by international agreements on mutual recognition and (or) the legislation of the Russian Federation (ceased to be in force as of 2019-03-06)1.
