Definition of a Supplier


The definition of a supplier selection process refers to the set of actions carried out by purchasers in accordance with this Federal Law, starting from the publication of an announcement regarding the procurement of goods, works, or services for state (federal, regional) needs or municipal needs, or in cases established by this Federal Law, including the invitation to participate in the selection of a supplier (contractor, performer), and ending with the conclusion of a contract (ceased to be effective as of 2019-01-01)1.
