Emergency Services Calling Device


An emergency services calling device — a device or system installed on a vehicle that determines the coordinates of the vehicle's location, its speed and direction of movement based on the use of GLONASS signals, and ensures the formation and transmission in an unalterable format of information about the vehicle during road traffic accidents and other incidents on roads in the Russian Federation, as well as two-way voice communication between the vehicle and emergency services via mobile radio telephone networks1.
