State Quarantine Phytosanitary Control


State phytosanitary quarantine control — activities carried out by a federal executive authority responsible for control and supervision in the field of plant quarantine, aimed at detecting quarantine objects in sub-quarantine products and on sub-quarantine objects, ensuring compliance with phytosanitary quarantine requirements, preventing and stopping violations of Russian Federation legislation in the field of plant quarantine, fulfilling international obligations and complying with the legislation of importing countries and member states of the Customs Union in the field of plant quarantine (ceased to be in force as of 2020-08-28)1.
