Participant in hostilities on the territories of other countries


A participant in hostilities on the territories of other countries — military personnel of the Soviet Army, Navy, Committee for State Security of the USSR, individuals of enlisted and officer ranks, and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR (including military personnel, technical specialists, and advisors), who, by decision of the Government of the USSR, served in states where hostilities were taking place at that time, and participated in hostilities1.
