Credit Rating Agency


Credit rating agency — a legal entity established in the organizational and legal form of a joint-stock company in accordance with Russian Federation legislation, entered by the Bank of Russia into the register of credit rating agencies in accordance with the requirements of this Federal law, and carrying out rating activities1.

A credit rating agency is an entity that carries out control over the activities of a rated entity or exerts significant influence on it2.
