A person under the influence of alcohol
A person in a state of intoxication is a person operating a vehicle, in the case where it has been established that this person has consumed substances causing alcoholic intoxication, which is determined by the presence of absolute ethyl alcohol in a concentration exceeding the possible total measurement error established by the legislation of the Russian Federation on administrative offenses, or in the case of the presence of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogs or new potentially hazardous psychoactive substances in this person's body, as well as a person operating a vehicle who has not complied with the lawful requirement of an authorized official to undergo a medical examination for intoxication status in accordance with the provisions of the legislation of the Russian Federation1.
