City-forming and town-forming Russian fisheries organization

Russian fishery organization forming a city or settlement — organizations that meet the following criteria: conduct fishing using vessels of the industrial fishing fleet owned by them as property owners, or use them on the basis of charter agreements (bareboat charter and time charter); registered as a legal entity in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation; the share of income from the sale of harvested (caught) aquatic biological resources and (or) other products made from harvested (caught) aquatic biological resources in total income from the sale of goods (works, services) is not less than 70 percent for the calendar year preceding the year of issuance of a permit for the harvesting (catching) of aquatic biological resources; the number of employees, taking into account family members living with them, as of January 1 of the calendar year in which the issuance of a permit for the harvesting (catching) of aquatic biological resources is carried out, is not less than half of the total number of the population of the relevant settlement (ceased to be in force as of 2019-05-01)¹.
